Celebrate spring with a scavenger hunt! The hunt may begin at Eiseley, but will take you far afield into nature.

As part of the Nebraska Extension's Look Who's Hatching program, Gere Library will have incubating eggs on display June 20 through July 13. Stop in to choose names for the eggs, make predictions about what is inside, and observe the eggs as they incubate and hatch. Hatching should start by July 11. The animals will remain on display until July 13.

Remarkably Bright Creatures sees Tova rediscovering the world around her. Join us to (re)discover Lincoln! Pick up a sheet at your favorite branch and complete it by August 31 to be entered in a drawing. This program is offered in connection with the 2023 One Book One Lincoln program.

Join the literary pumpkin parade at Walt Branch. All ages are invited to decorate pumpkins like your favorite book character or theme. No carved pumpkins please. Hey Teens! If you are resolved to read more, here's a chance to jump start your journey. Stop by any Lincoln City Library location or print out a copy of the Book Bingo page and start reading. You can do across, down, diagonal or even coverall. Listening also counts, so check out Libby and Hoopla for books that fit the parameters. Everyone wins, but some lucky person will win a gift card to a bookstore.
